Scattered Thoughts (1)

Strength to the weak
Humility to the proud
When it goes all wrong
Right could be just around the corner…
Slow fade of a bright day

Lying awake all night
Thoughts roam in my mind
Like fireflies in the darkest of the night
Stream of tears fall from my eyes
Drowning what is left of sanity in me
Sroke of midnight and I’m lost like it’s been forever
Wielded words carefully delivered brings deeep hurts

Still I wait for the calm in me
The gentle whisper to tell it will be alright
But all is quiet…
The unnerving kind of quiet
Noise would be a sweet relief now….
